30.07.2005
Saturday, July 30th, 2005I’ve just woken up. I had a little party or gathering in my place last night. It was cool, I enjoyed it. I made sangrķa. We drunk for two or three hours and then we left for “Club Day”. It’s like a special day that happens every last Friday of the month, here in Seoul. One of the clubbing areas (well, the main one actually) gets completely people-flooded. The difference is that paying the amount of one and a half entry fee it’s possible to get in most of the clubs around. And that makes a difference.
The roller-coaster like Seoul nightlife is changing again, I guess. This clubbing area I’ve been talking about is getting very popular among foreigners. It might sound strange to be mention but the complex Korean society gets affected (or let’s say “stimulated”) by many different factors. A very big one is the amount of foreigners per square meter. It changes the whole feeling of the place.
Last year this place was in my opinion a little bit more foreigner-free thus the atmosphere was kind of relaxed. Now is getting more suffocating since more foreigners come.
I know, I am a foreigner
I’m just giving it a shot… trying to think. That’s all.
